Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment (OIEA) promotes institutional capacity for effective and meaningful outcomes assessment efforts and promotes common understanding and value in the use of assessment. The office supports the use of assessment results for unit and department improvement and institutional effectiveness and broader use of general education and institutional learning goal assessment data. The OIEA team also manages assessment processes at the institutional, department and program level, and is responsible for the institution’s participation in all aspects of the annual Tennessee Higher Education Quality Assurance Funding requirements, including program review.
IEA has temporarily relocated to Clement Room 321 during Miller Hall's roof replacement project.
