Graduate Nursing Welcome
Dear perspective graduate nursing student:
Hello and welcome to the graduate nursing program. The APSU School of Nursing is delighted to announce the beginning of a new graduate nursing program. The program starts in the spring semester of 2019, and is designed for nurses who already have a bachelor's degree in nursing (MSN program) and for those who have an earned master's degree in nursing (Post-Master's Certificate Program).
It is an exciting time for advance practice nurses and nurses with advanced degrees. Nursing has always been an integral part of the healthcare system and is the largest entity to ensure quality care for everyone. Providing a positive impact across the patient’s lifespan is the goal of the APSU MSN program.
The graduate nursing program offers two concentrations: Family Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator.
Students accepted into the graduate nursing program will have opportunities for enhanced learning and networking through on-campus visits. During these visits, faculty will provide mentorship while teaching students essential skills/competencies for the advanced role of choice.
The APSU School Nursing graduate nursing program strives to have a personal relationship with its students and to offer an affordable pathway to graduate nursing education. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
