Certificate Program: 24 semester credit hours or less

Certificate Programs requiring 24 semester credit hours or less have an internal approval process with the President being the final authority for approval. Below are the steps required for proposal submission:

The first step for proposing a new certificate less than 24 semester credit hours is to complete the Academic Program Intake form. This form will allow Academic Affairs to determine the vitality of the program and if the resources are available to substantiate the certificate program.
Once the Academic Intake Form is approved, the appropriate certificate form will need to be completed. This form will require the Curriculum to be determined and Learning Outcomes developed.
