Major Field Test

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

The Criminal Justice Major Field Test consists of 150 multiple choice questions.  You are allowed 2.5 hours to complete the test, there is no cost to the student, and your score is not factored into your GPA.  This test is used for comparative analysis purposes within the department.  At this time, there is no study material available.

Taking the Criminal Justice Major Field Test is a requirement for all graduating seniors, and your diploma can be withheld if this exam is not completed. If you have circumstances that would prevent you from completing your exam you must contact our office directly to discuss alternatives. We can be reached at 931-221-1480.  You may also email us at criminaljustice@apsu.edu.

Students graduating in December 2021 will be completing their exams online via ProctorU.  Once you have applied for graduation, your name will be added to the testing roster and instructions will be sent to your APSU email.  You will have until November 19, 2021 to complete the exam.
