COVID-19 Testing at APSU

COVID-19 testing is being conducted on the campus of APSU at the rear of the Ard building for faculty, staff, students and members of their household who meet specific conditions. Please seek out testing immediately if either of these conditions applies to you:
  1. You are experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms, or
  2. You have been in close contact (within 6 feet for 10 minutes or more) with someone with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis

Covid testing at the ARD

  • Testing is available 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Monday – Thursday for ALL eligible APSU students, faculty, staff and members of their household.
  • Available through drive-in method. There are two parking spots designated as reserved for testing in the rear parking lot of the Ard building. You will pull into one of these parking spots, park, and call the phone number printed on the sign. A staff member from the lab will come out to your car and obtain the sample(s) for the test. The rapid (antigen) test takes about 15 minutes. If you have a negative rapid result, an additional test (PCR) will be performed to verify those negative rapid results. The PCR results should be available in 24-48 hours. The testing staff will let you know how and when you will receive those results. If you have a positive result, no additional testing is necessary.
