I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1984 with my undergraduate degree and 1986 with my graduate degree in Student Personnel/Counseling.  My professional experience includes work at Texas Tech University as a professional hall director, an Area Coordinator at Appalachian State University and my current job at Austin Peay State University as Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs/Director of Housing.

I am active member of ACUHO- I, SEAHO and TACUHO.  Our department is committed to making sure the on campus experience is a positive one not only for the student, but their entire family.

Oversees long range planning, goals, and objectives for entire office.  Development and management of Housing budget, master plan, marketing plan, and departmental assessment plan.  Facility management of Housing projects.  AP Day/Summer Welcomes.  Supervision of professional and support staff for office.  Develop and oversee residential communities to create engaging learning environments.  Development and implementation of dept crisis and risk management plan.


 

Kim Morrow

Kimberley Morrow has served as the Associate Director of Housing/Residence Life and Dining Services since 2007. She earned her BA from the University of South Alabama and went on to obtain her MS from Jacksonville State University. She received her Ed.S in Administration and Supervision from Austin Peay State University in 2011.

Supervisor of Residence Life staffing/programs/living learning communities. CHO in absence of Director. Direct Supervisor of the AC Staff. Hearing Officer for formal discipline. Coordinator of contract release and damage appeals process. AP Days/Summer Welcomes presentations. Manages the programming budget. Early arrival and late stay approval. Survey creation and Data Collection for Residence Life. Movie and Info Channel oversight.


 

Sue Fort

Sue graduated from Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky with a Masters in Public Administration while working at Austin Peay State University.  

Currently, Sue supervises one clerical staff and the Functional Support Specialist. Other job responsibilities includes: overseeing main campus housing assignments; implementation of emergency housing bid; overflow housing/contract administration; coordinating athletic housing with coaches; overseeing housing department’s Great Change Day /Room Change Administration;  and the processing of resident housing cancellations/withdrawals.


 

Cecil Wilson,

EMAIL CECIL

Cecil graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and a Concentration in Accounting. As a student at Austin Peay, Cecil served for several years as a Resident Assistant (RA) in Rawlins Hall and Harvill Hall. After graduating, Cecil worked for several years in the corporate accounting field before returning to Austin Peay to work for Housing.

Administrator for Dining Service Contract. Dining Advisory Committee Liaison. Meal Plan Exemptions. Refunds/Accts Payable issues for meal plans. Budget preparation and financial analysis and reporting. Contract preparation. Management of dining investment funds. Survey Creation and Data Collection (QLS and Dining). Dining renovations. Supervision of dining mechanic.

Responsibilities include supervision of the Area Coordinators; recruitment, selection, and training of paraprofessional staff; hearing officer for formal discipline; assists with the development and oversight of Living Learning Communities; assists with the development and implementation of the residence life budget; and recruitment, selection, and training of summer conference staff.


 

Zach Inman, M.A.E.

Functional Support Specialist

Zach Inman is the Functional Support Specialist within the Office of Housing/Residence Life and Dining Services.  Zach graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2014 with an undergraduate degree in Biology, and in 2017, he graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in College Student Development.

Zach serves as the main liaison between Housing/Residence Life and Dining Services and Information Technology. He maintains the occupancy management and student conduct databases for the department; maintains the departmental webpages; builds and maintains all Banner processes; develops and prepares external and internal reports for the department; and serves as the primary contact for StarRez/Banner/Maxient issues for the department. 


 

Lilian Obi

EMAIL DR. OBI

Dr. Obi is an Area Coordinator in the Office of Housing/Residence Life & Dining Services. She came to APSU in 2003 after serving for two years as Hall Coordinator at the University of Iowa. She has also worked at University of Northern Illinois and Montana State University. Originally from Nigeria, she graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in Administrative Management and an M. Ed degree in Business Education from Bowling Green State University, Ohio. She completed her Ph.D. degree in Higher Education Administration at Illinois State University. Before working in Residence Life, Dr. Obi served as a college faculty member (mostly in Nigeria) for seven years. Her hobbies include reading (favorite book is the Bible), listening to Christian music, cooking and playing scrabble. She has a daughter who is an Alumni of APSU and was a star athlete in High School and also at APSU.

Management of guest apartments. RHD Supervision (documentation, employee discipline). Assignments/Billing for Emerald Hill apartments. Create/revise notes for living – Emerald Hill/Marion Street. Student Staff selection and payroll (HR paperwork, loading of scholarships) RHD’s and RA’s. 24 hour on call rotation. Teach RA class. Informal discipline hearing/files. Hiring/Supervision of Emerald Hill office workers. Assist in staff training.


 

Theresa Walton

Theresa was born in Albequerque, NM and moved to Clarksville, TN in 2008. Theresa graduated from Austin Peay in 2016 with her Bachelors in Communication and a concentration in Public Relations. While as an undergrad, Theresa was an RA and RHD in Sevier Hall and the RHD in Governor Terrace South and Eriksson. 

Theresa oversees Emerald Hill/ Two Rivers, Meacham, Sevier and Harvill Hall and supervises the Residence hall staffs. She also advises the departments social media committee and is coordinates the department social media channels. Theresa is also responsible for the daily operations of the Emerald Hill Non-Traditional/Family Housing office.


 

Nazim Chaker

EMAIL NAZIM

Nazim was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from the University of North Alabama with his Bachelors degree in Health Education & Recreation in 2014.  He graduated  from Mississippi State University in 2016 with his Masters degree in Counseling in Student Affairs.

Supervisor for Castle Heights, Blount Hall, and Sevier Hall,  Nazim manages Residence Hall Directors and Resident Assistants of each respective staff. Nazim advises the Residence Hall Association and Hall Councils. Nazim is also responsible for operating departmental committees that engage and progress student development. Nazim wants to see students meet their full potential and become successful members of their communities.

I’m Tracey Webb and I was born and raised in Clarksville, Tennessee.  I graduated from Austin Peay with a B.P.S. in Leadership & Organizational Administration.  I am the proud mother of two boys, Caleb and Joshua.  I love working in Housing/Residence Life and Dining Services.  I enjoy helping the students and parents navigate their way through the college experience. 

I assist the AVP/Director of Housing with marketing plans, All State ads, AP Day, GOV's ROW, presentations, purchasing management, Residency Exemption coordinator, personnel leave management.  I also do special projects for the AVP/Director of Housing.


 

Jill Endsley

I was born and raised in northern New Hampshire, but I have been a Tennessean now for over 18 years.  I married an army solider stationed at Ft. Campbell Kentucky Military Base in 2006 where we set up residence in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Greet visitors, receptionist, residents swipe card and loaner key security inventory, judicial appointments, letters, files, contract release correspondence, process student billing, assist with schedule of student employees, work orders and re-core requests, correspondence, meeting room reservations for 109 and 111.


 

Cliff Gaines

Maintenance Mechanic

Cliff attended Austin Peay State University from 1982 through 1984 where he majored in Art. He also attended Chattahoochee Technical College as a student and taught 3D Animation and Visual as an adjust professor. Cliff has competed in several animation competitions sponsored by D.E.C.A. Cliff served in the U.S. Army reserves for six year. Cliff enjoys reading, drawing and building computers for high-end digital graphics processing. With over fifteen years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repairing, we’re glad he is part of the Austin Peay Housing team.

Trouble-shoot and repair Dining Services equipment. Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections. Serve as point of contact for all Dining Services contracted work. Install and maintain new equipment. Test and operate all equipment. Maintain exhaust fans and vents for Dining Services. Maintain Dining Services plumping lines. Maintain Dining Services equipment inventory. Determine any need for replacing old equipment.
