General Information
Programs
If you are stationed at Fort Campbell you will be able to take advantage of many programs offered at our APSU Center @ Fort Campbell and on our Clarksville campus, which is located just a few miles from post. If you are not stationed at Fort Campbell, we offer a multitude of online programs which you can complete without ever stepping into a classroom
ArmyIgnitED
What is ArmyIgnitED? ArmyIgnitED is the new and improved portal by which all active duty soldiers who are utilizing tuition assistance can request Tuition Assistance for courses that they are already registered for in AP OneStop. Unlike the former GoArmyEd site, soldiers utilizing ArmyIgnitED will add and drop classes directly in AP OneStop. This portal is used not only for our Fort Campbell campus, but also our Clarksville campus.
Admissions
For active-duty military, reassignments and deployments are facts of life. Here at Austin Peay, we want to help our soldiers, so we offer an Admissions Checklist to help get you started.
Awarding of Transfer Credit
Transfer credit is awarded for course work taken at a regionally accredited institution, as well as other non-traditional credit, to include military credit. Military credit is awarded for current or prior service members based on training reflected on a Joint Service Transcript (JST) or other military documents , such as a DD-214. Transcripts or documentation will be evaluated as it is received and completed within 7 to 10 business days, as long as the student has an application on file. The transfer evaluation will be available in the student's AP OneStop. More information regarding transfer evaluations can be found at https://www.apsu.edu/registrar/transfer/.
Career NCO Degree Program
APSU is a participating school for the Career NCO Degree Program which is for all enlisted soldiers in any MOS. Please visit your local Education Center Counselor for more information.
ROTC Program
Austin Peay is a smart choice for the aspiring Green to Gold soldier. The APSU registrar is very veteran and soldier-friendly, and the University is generous with granting military service credits.
