Graduate Nursing
The graduate nursing program at APSU prepares graduates to make significant contributions
to the overall improvement of health and essential professional practice standards
in a variety of settings. Providing a positive impact across the patient’s lifespan is a goal of the APSU Graduate
Nursing program.
There are three concentrations for our MSN program:
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)--Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Concentration
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)--Nurse Educator (NE) Concentration
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)--Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Concentration
FNP and PMHNP students accepted into the graduate nursing program experience enhanced learning and networking through two on-campus intensives. During these visits, faculty mentors guide students in learning essential skills/competencies for the advanced role of choice. Students report that these on-campus visits are FUN and they enjoy the socialization with peers and faculty.
The APSU School Nursing graduate nursing program strives to have a personal relationship with its students and to offer an affordable pathway to graduate nursing education. APSU has the lowest graduate tuition per/credit hour in the state of Tennessee. Students can earn their MSN at APSU for less than $21,000 (tuition only/in-state).
