Guest Student at APSU
You are currently enrolled and in good academic standing at another regionally-accredited college or university and would like to take courses at APSU that will apply towards the completion of your degree at your primary school. In order to utilize your VA education benefits, please follow the checklist below:
Apply for Admissions as a transient student and request either your transcripts or a letter of good standing from your primary school
Contact your primary school's VA School Certifying Official to request a parent approval letter to be sent to the appropriate APSU Office of Veterans Education Benefits. The parent approval letter must include primary school's contact information, student's full name, benefit chapter, enrollment term, and courses approved.
Post 9/11 GI Bill®, Transfer of Entitlement, and Fry Scholarship: submit a copy of your latest VA education award letter.
VA Veteran Readiness & Employment: your counselor must authorize your enrollment as a guest student by submitting the VR&E authorization to the APSU Office of Veterans Education Benefits.
